'I made a lot of enemies': Wanda Nara's lawyer was raided for fraud
Yanina Latorre revealed details about the police procedure and the multiple charges that Nicolás Payarola would face
On Wednesday, June 4, tranquility in Nordelta was shaken by the raid on attorney Nicolás Payarola, known for representing Wanda Nara. The operation sparked a wave of speculation about his legal situation, and Yanina Latorre was the one who revealed previously unknown information on her show Sálvese quien pueda.
During the broadcast, the host stated that she tried to contact Payarola without success. According to her, the attorney may have lost access to his mobile phones, possibly seized by the police. "I wrote to him, but he doesn't answer. Either he doesn't want to or they took his cell phones," Latorre commented.
A legal history full of suspicion
Latorre listed several cases that would involve the lawyer, beyond the media scandal. Among them, she mentioned one linked to an alleged scammer of retirees in the south of the country, from which Payarola was reportedly acquitted, according to his version.
She also alluded to his alleged involvement in fraudulent schemes within the real estate market. "The modus operandi would be to attract clients as a lawyer and then have them invest in non-existent land," she explained.

However, she clarified that the day's police procedure was not related to the Gonzalo Montiel case, another of the legal scandals in which Payarola's name appears. In this particular case, the raid was reportedly related to a scam committed together with a former partner, who is also under investigation for similar cases.
Eight scams and neighborhood tension
Latorre stated live that there are at least eight fraud complaints against the attorney, although the request for his arrest reportedly did not succeed. "Neighbors from Nordelta wrote to me; they say they don't want any more thieves and that they can't sleep peacefully," she recounted, revealing the unrest the episode reportedly caused in the gated community.
The host also dropped another bomb: "They told me he has an electronic bracelet," suggesting that the lawyer could be under restrictive measures as part of one of the ongoing cases.
A testimony that raises more suspicions
The show's production received a message from an alleged close friend of Payarola, who detailed that the operation included the seizure of documents, computers, and cell phones, belonging to both the attorney and his wife. According to this acquaintance, Payarola believed that everything was an act of revenge: "He thinks this is payback for having defended Wanda."
The testimony also included a striking moment that occurred during the raid. "A police officer pulled him aside and said: 'This is obvious, they're out to get you.' And he replied: 'I've made a lot of enemies,'" Latorre read on air, visibly surprised by the statement.
With each new detail, Nicolás Payarola's case seems to be moving away from the media spotlight and into a much more complex legal territory, where connections, enemies, and suspicions weave a plot that is only just beginning to unfold.
