The arrival of H&M in Argentina already has a general manager, confirmed location, and expected date for its first opening
The Swedish chain is preparing its entry alongside Hola Moda and will have its first store in Alto Palermo.

H&M already has a general manager for its entry into Argentina
H&M appointed Martín Isabella as general manager in Argentina to lead the launch of the local operation.
The executive will be responsible for building the structure, training the team, and preparing the operation for the brand's arrival.
Isabella has over 20 years of experience in retail. Much of his career has been linked to Puma, where he joined in 2004 and held various positions in Argentina.

In 2020, he moved to Melbourne to take on the role of Retail Director of Puma for Oceania. He remained in that position for four years before returning to the country.
He then joined Arredo as Commercial Director. That was his last position before joining the H&M project in Argentina.

Where H&M will open its first store in Argentina
The first H&M store in Argentina will be located in Alto Palermo, at Avenida Santa Fe 3253, in the Buenos Aires neighborhood of Palermo.
The company announced its entry on April 24, when it confirmed that it would advance in the Argentine market alongside Hola Moda.
The timeline provided by the company states that the opening will be during 2027. For now, H&M has not communicated the day or month of the inauguration.

In July, there were rumors about a possible acceleration of the timeline to open before the end of 2026. This possibility has not been officially confirmed, so 2027 remains the announced date.
How H&M's entry will be alongside Hola Moda
The Argentine operation will be managed by Hola Moda, a Panamanian group that works with the brand under a franchise model in various Latin American markets.

This model allows H&M to enter Argentina through a franchised partner, instead of developing a completely owned operation.
Before the confirmation of the entry, representatives of the Swedish company visited various shopping centers and held meetings in April with teams linked to IRSA.
