The national government has once again sent a clear signal that adjustment with efficiency and responsibility brings concrete results. Presidential spokesperson Manuel Adorni announced on his X account that the High Complexity Network Hospital "El Cruce" in Florencio Varela will grant, starting in September, a monthly 15% supplement on the basic salary to all its healthcare staff, retroactive to August.
Far from being "extra money," Adorni explained that this salary adjustment is achieved thanks to the reduction of unnecessary expenses by $8.2 billion in inefficient services, resources that were redirected to where they truly matter: healthcare workers and patients.

The increases will be accompanied by a non-remunerative bonus of $200,000 in October, $220,000 in November, and $180,000 in December, the latter intended to accompany the year-end bonus.
Health Minister Mario Lugones welcomed the measure and highlighted the paradigm shift in hospital administration: "We will continue working to enhance the income of healthcare professionals. The only way to achieve this is by managing resources responsibly, spending where it is necessary, and ensuring the sustainability of the system," he emphasized.
On social media, Lugones added that the orderly management of the current Hospital Board of Directors made it possible to fulfill what Javier Milei's government promised from the beginning: that efficiency translates into tangible improvements for workers and better care for patients.

The financial restructuring process included audits in purchases and tenders, optimization of hiring and tenders, and improvements in collections from social security and prepaid health plans. According to a source close to the government, these measures made it possible to eliminate "unnecessary expenses" and achieve savings of between 14% and 38% in critical areas such as cleaning, laundry, security, maintenance, and food services, which in total represents more than $8.2 billion.
El Cruce hospital in its official statement on the social network X acknowledged: "Both measures confirm that efficiency in management is the path that allows recognition of workers' efforts and, at the same time, guarantees quality care."

Finally, the institution reaffirmed the path that President Javier Milei is undertaking: "The course is clear: with responsible administration and control, every recovered peso translates into concrete benefits for healthcare staff and better healthcare service for Argentinians," the institution concluded.
