Mirtha Legrand remains hospitalized at Sanatorio Mater Dei, where she was readmitted on Friday, September 18 due to a case of pneumonia. This Wednesday, the institution released a new medical report detailing how the host is progressing and what the next steps will be during her recovery.
According to the statement signed by the medical director of the sanatorium, Enrique Echagüe, Chiqui shows favorable progress and will remain hospitalized to continue under the supervision of professionals.
“Mrs. Mirtha Legrand continues to improve day by day from the pneumonia that led to her hospitalization, with good progress,” begins the statement released this Wednesday.

Despite the improvement, it is not currently planned for her to be discharged. “She will remain hospitalized for the next few days, in order to keep her under control and provide her with the appropriate care and support,” detailed the Mater Dei.
