'I didn't give much': Tropeano explained why Pergolini fired him from 'Dejá que entre el Sol'

The influencer dropped a hint: 'I would have liked to be told that I wasn't doing it well.'

Juan Tropeano confirmed that he left Deja que entre el sol, the streaming show led by Mario Pergolini,  and stated that the decision was finalized after a direct conversation with the host. According to his account, Pergolini told him that he was not satisfied with his performance or with his contribution to the show's panel.

"I'm very sorry, I wanted to continue, but I understand that's how it works," Tropeano said  on social media, where he also acknowledged that he had not shown his best version: "I'm very self-critical. I know many people say I'm outstanding, but I didn't give much."

The statement that sparked controversy

Despite his self-criticism, the influencer hinted that he did not receive any warning signs from those around him. "I didn't give much, I didn't give much. I think I would have liked it more if someone had told me that. The truth is that I'm lazy. I'm lazy. If someone had known that months ago, I would have liked them to tell me as well. To tell me: "Hey, you're not doing well," he remarked.

The comment could be interpreted as a reproach toward his colleagues and the production team, suggesting that they could have guided or warned him earlier.  However, he himself emphasized that there were no serious conflicts or financial issues: "My financial separation was excellent, I had no problems."

Pergolini's silence and an uncertain future

On social media, Tropeano received messages of support from several colleagues and peers, including Lucas Rodríguez and Cami Fortunato, while Pergolini chose not to comment, as had already happened with other recent departures, including those of Momo Benavides and Goncho.

The young man concluded his farewell by highlighting that he worked for six months (0.5 years) in a space he considered to have high professional and personal value. Nevertheless, his account made it clear that sharing a panel with a figure like Pergolini is a challenge that demands experience, consistency, and a level of rigor that, for now, he still seems to be in the process of learning to sustain.
