Mauro Icardi expressed his intention to travel with his daughters to Istanbul to attend a possible celebration of Galatasaray, the club he plays for. Although the trip is confirmed, the presence of the girls still depends on a judicial authorization and the approval of Wanda Nara, their mother.
Icardi continues his recovery from a knee injury in Argentina, but he already has a return date to Türkiye. The club asked him to attend the celebrations if Galatasaray became the champion of Turkish football the following Sunday, and the forward agreed.
Journalist Juan Etchegoyen reported on Mitre Live that the trip was scheduled for the Monday after the match. In Galatasaray, they took his presence in Istanbul for granted. However, the player expressed his desire for his daughters, Isabella and Francesca, to accompany him on that flight.

The issue arises because the girls can't leave the country without judicial authorization or Wanda Nara's consent. This created uncertainty about whether the family reunion would finally happen. "Icardi already announced that he wants to go with his daughters," Etchegoyen noted. "Wanda has to sign for them to travel. The worst chapter of the story is coming."
