A Senegalese living illegally in the United States attacked and injured several Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents after being detained in New York City.
The illegal immigrant, named Bass Ndiaye, assaulted ICE agents and nearly a dozen other detainees with a pair of scissors while being held at a city detention center on July 18.
Ndiaye will be brought to trial for assaulting a United States agent with a deadly or dangerous weapon, facing a sentence of up to 20 years in prison if convicted.

Biden's policies released the violent offender
"This criminal illegal immigrant, who was released into the country under President Biden's administration, will face justice for his violent crimes," stated Deputy Secretary of Homeland Security Tricia McLaughlin to The Daily Wire.
"Our ICE agents are facing an 830% increase in attacks against them. Secretary Noem supports the brave men and women of law enforcement who risk their lives to remove criminal illegal immigrants and protect Americans," the official continued.
Ndiaye was first arrested on July 17 on New York City streets, where he was taken to an immigration center for processing. The incident with the bladed weapon occurred the following day, with immigration agents subduing the violent criminal minutes later.
