Initially, violent episodes were reported on a terrace, where glasses and chairs were thrown among the fans. However, the situation worsened later, forcing the police to intervene with riot units and pepper spray.
"The uniformed officers reacted immediately, which prevented a further escalation of the conflict or negative behavior," stated the Wroclaw Provincial Police Headquarters.
In the same vein, they added: "The number of preventive and operational police forces, along with their constant presence at points where residents and sports fans gather or circulate, is so great that everyone can feel safe."
As part of the protocol to contain the ultras, foot patrols were deployed, in addition to drones and helicopters for aerial surveillance. The result was as follows: three people were arrested for stealing flags and, according to another report from the Wroclaw Police, one for aggressive behavior, all of them Spanish.

"The police noticed that a group of about ten people started a brawl. They reacted immediately by running to the scene of the conflict, but most of the fans had already dispersed by then. A 31-year-old Spanish citizen who was more aggressive was detained," it was reported.
Finally, they commented on the next steps: "Today, procedural activities have been scheduled with the participation of an expert translator. The police are analyzing surveillance footage to identify those involved in the incident."
