Independiente complained to FIFA again due to lack of payments in Velasco's transfer.

The Avellaneda club demands a payment of 400 thousand dollars from MLS and Dallas for the training rights of the current Boca player

Independiente's management filed a formal complaint with FIFA due to the non-payment of training rights for the recent transfer of Alan Velasco to Boca.

The "Rojo" submitted a request to the world's football governing body, demanding that Major League Soccer pay approximately 400 thousand dollars, according to the fan media "Infierno Rojo".

Although Velasco played for FC Dallas, it was MLS that acquired his transfer, so the Avellaneda club is claiming the amount corresponding to the capital gain and training rights, following his recent move to the "Xeneize" in the last transfer market, from the American league and not the club.

The amount requested by the Avellaneda team is part of the 10 million that Boca paid Dallas for the transfer of the player trained in Villa Dominico. Additionally, this debt adds to another pending from the same club, corresponding to the last installment of one million dollars that remained unpaid from the player's first transfer.

The claim against Inter de Porto Alegre for Fabricio Bustos

Before proceeding with the lawsuit for Velasco, Independiente had initiated another claim with FIFA against Inter of Brazil, due to the non-payment of the percentages corresponding to the transfer of Fabricio Bustos to River.

The right-back left the Avellaneda club as a free agent in mid-2022, after his contract ended. However, as a gesture of gratitude for his training at the institution, he ceded 15% of his transfer. Last mid-year, the Millonario acquired his entire registration from the Brazilian team for an amount close to 5 million dollars.

Once the transfer was made official, the management of the King of Cups claimed their due share. River has already paid the agreed amount to Inter, but the Brazilian club did not comply with the agreement. With two overdue installments, the "Rojo" took the case to FIFA and demands the payment of 353 thousand dollars, plus 5% interest accumulated since June 2024.
