First Industrial Parks Meeting will bring together innovation and productive development

The event on August 26 will take place in Córdoba and aims to strengthen cooperation, technology, and industry

Córdoba will host the First National and International Meeting of Logistics and Technological Industrial Parks on Tuesday, August 26. The event aims to create spaces for collaboration, technical exchange, and strategic planning for the country's territorial growth. The activity will take place within the Expo Parques Industriales Córdoba 2025, with the support of the provincial Ministry of Production, Science, and Technological Innovation.

Organized by the Asociación de Parques Industriales Argentinos APIA together with La Voz, this meeting will bring together representatives from the public and private sectors. This is an opportunity to observe cases of modern infrastructure and efficient business management in the province. The experience will allow participants to identify practices that can be replicated in other productive hubs across the country, promoting a federal industrial model.

During the day, attendees will be able to participate in tours of local industrial parks, directly observing the implementation of technologies, management processes, and strategic planning by innovative companies. In the afternoon, participatory workshops and technical talkswill be held on production, sustainability, energy, and emerging technologies. In addition, there will be dialogue spaces based on the results of the Industrial Parks Self-Assessment Form promoted by APIA to evaluate infrastructure and governance.

This first edition marks an institutional milestone and a starting point for designing industrial development strategies with a federal, technological, and sustainable approach.

APIA, five years after its creation, has established itself as a central player in Argentine industrial development by combining territorial federalism, technological modernization, and public-private cooperation. The association works with governments, universities, development banks, startups, and business chambers to create smart, globally connected industrial parks. Its network currently includes more than 600 registered sites, consolidating an ecosystem that integrates science, innovation, and production.

The event will also highlight APIA's strategy focused on sustainability, digital transformation, startup integration, and the promotion of industrial events. Among its strategic alliances are INTI, Conicet, UTN, Cappitel, and Fecoba to promote energy efficiency, electric mobility, and process automation. In addition, the institution promotes the adoption of 4.0 technologies such as artificial intelligence, blockchain, and IoT to optimize traceability, logistics, and environmental monitoring in the parks.

International cooperation and technological expansion

APIA took decisive steps in international cooperation during 2025 by opening offices in Brussels and Hong Kong to connect companies and governments to global markets. The association participates in forums such as BRICS and the Lithium Latin America Congress, highlighting Argentine advances in industrial infrastructure, clean energy, and participatory governance.  It also promotes the creation of the first binational industrial park in Asunción, Paraguay, seeking to integrate supply chains, customs services, and bilateral trade in manufactured goods.

The entity forges alliances with park associations in Latin America and Europe, promoting financing, standardization, and certification of industrial processes. In addition, it is part of the Alliance for Productive Integration together with UTN and UPM with support from CAF, promoting international business and regional development with a technological and sustainable approach. With this strategy, APIA aims to consolidate a model of connected, sustainable industrial parks capable of competing in global markets.
