An influencer mother of seven children was shot and killed in a shopping mall.
The woman known on social media as Gloria Zamora was reportedly shot by her ex-husband
Gloria Zamora, a 40-year-old fitness influencer and mother of seven children, was murdered last Saturday, June 21 in the parking lot of Falcon Ridge Town Center in Fontana, California.
The crime occurred around 9:40 p.m. when the content creator and her current partner, Héctor Garduno, were leaving a sushi restaurant after a dinner following a meeting related to a new work project.
According to the Fontana Police Department, the perpetrator of the attack was Thomas Alberto Tamayo Lizarraga, Zamora's ex-husband, with whom she was in the midst of a divorce process. Authorities indicated that Tamayo Lizarraga had been lurking around the area for at least an hour before the shooting.
"We don't know how he found out where she was, but apparently he had been at the restaurant about an hour before the shooting", Officer Steve Reed told ABC 7.

Days before the crime, Zamora had revealed in an episode of the HERizon podcast that she had ended her marriage. Although she did not share specific details about the breakup, she hinted that she had gone through a complex relationship situation and emphasized the importance of setting boundaries when relationships become unhealthy.
Gloria had more than 155,000 followers on Instagram, where she shared workout routines, healthy living tips, and personal reflections. Her profile became a source of inspiration, especially for mothers seeking to balance motherhood with physical and emotional well-being.
After her murder, one of her children opened a GoFundMe page to help with funeral expenses and the care of her younger siblings. In the post, the young man described the murder as an "unimaginable act of violence" and directly accused his stepfather Tomás: "My mom was senselessly taken from us."

So far, the campaign has already raised more than $32,000, thanks to hundreds of people who showed solidarity with the deceased's family. On social media, a large number of people left messages of encouragement for the model's relatives, who are demanding justice for such an appalling act.
"Rest in paradise 🕊️🙏 baby. You were such a beautiful and very inspiring person! Domestic violence is no joke!", "R.I.P. Beautiful 🙏🏼♥️ you didn't deserve this" and "She was so beautiful, she didn't deserve that" were the messages left by users on her last Instagram posts.
