In an achievement already emerging as an exemplary case of efficiency, the National Government, under the leadership of President Javier Milei, achieved overwhelming results in the transformation of the Social Work of Rural Personnel and Stevedores of the Argentine Republic (OSPRERA).
During the first quarter of 2025, the delivery of high-cost medications—including cancer treatments, HIV, and severe chronic diseases—increased by 30% compared to the same period in 2024. More impressive still, in relation to the three months prior to the intervention (June, July, and August 2024), the increase was 300%, rising from 9,058 units delivered to 28,248 units in just one year.
"The numbers are overwhelming," celebrated official sources, highlighting that this leap not only reflects a greater service capacity of the social work but also the firm decision to put an end to decades of discretionary management and misappropriation of funds by the union caste.

The intervention team of OSPRERA also emphasized that this operational improvement was achieved while simultaneously advancing in reducing the inherited financial deficit. Thus, it is confirmed that austerity and efficiency can go hand in hand with a significant expansion in access to health for historically neglected sectors.
In an emotional internal message, the authorities of OSPRERA expressed their "sincere gratitude" to the social work staff for the "effort, dedication, and professionalism" with which they are carrying out this transformation. The recognition highlights that "today the resources are where they should be: at the service of those who need them most", in line with the vision of a more efficient state at the service of the citizen, promoted from day one by Javier Milei.
