On the operational front, the U.S. Armed Forces confirmed they successfully attacked three Iranian ships in the waters of the Gulf. Additionally, President Donald Trump reopened diplomatic dialogue after having formally threatened at the UN General Assembly to destroy the Persian regime.

Despite this rejection, Qatari intermediaries will convey the formal stance to U.S. negotiators to obtain a final response that will be evaluated in Tehran.
In the face of the imminent collapse and just weeks before the November 3 midterm elections in the United States, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps of Iran executed an attempt at interference by issuing a provocative message directed at the American public. During a press conference in Tehran, the spokesperson for the Revolutionary Guard, General Hossein Mohebbi, read a letter urging American citizens to take to the streets and protest against the conflict.
The General Hossein Mohebbi stated that the only way to end the war requires Washington to admit defeat and leave the Middle East, accusing the White House of using the nuclear program as a mere pretext to “plunder Iran's wealth” and turn the country into a colony.
