Israel achieved air superiority over Iran in just 48 hours.

In an impressive lightning operation, Israel secured air superiority over large areas of Iranian territory in just 48 hours, including the airspace over the capital Tehran. This was confirmed by the spokesperson for the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), who stated: “We can say that we've achieved full air superiority over the skies of Tehran.”

The offensive, launched on June 13 under the codename “Operation Rising Lion,” consists of several waves of coordinated attacks, mainly by air.

In the early hours of the attack, more than 200 aircraft participated in the bombing of at least 100 strategic military targets, including command centers of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), ballistic missile launchers, heavy weapons arsenals, and sites related to the Iranian nuclear program.

The key to success was the combination of surgical precision, cutting-edge technology, and a remarkable covert action by the Israeli intelligence service, Mossad. Days before the air operation, drones and special forces infiltrated Iranian territory to mark targets and preemptively neutralize air defense systems.

One of the most significant achievements was the destruction of nearly 30% of the arsenal of Iranian surface-to-surface missile launchers. Several Russian Tor-M1 and S-300 anti-aircraft batteries, which until now had protected Iran's military infrastructure, were also neutralized.

The attacks were carried out with F-35 stealth aircraft, precision missiles, and electronic warfare systems that blinded enemy radars, leaving the Iranian air defense in the west of the country virtually inoperative.

According to analysts, this air control allows Israel to operate freely in Iranian airspace for the first time in its history, conducting bombings without facing effective opposition from the ground.

Meanwhile, Iran has tried to respond by launching more than 350 missiles and drones against Israeli territory, most of which were intercepted, and Tehran's retaliatory capability is visibly degraded.

With this action, Israel has not only dealt a devastating military blow to Iran's offensive capabilities, but has also sent a clear strategic message.
