Israel will require Greta Thunberg to watch a video of the October 7 Hamas attack.
According to the Israeli Defense Minister, the goal is for left-wing activists to see whom they are supporting
Israel's Defense Minister, Israel Katz, celebrated on Monday the "quick and safe" boarding of the "Madleen," a ship belonging to the "Freedom Flotilla" that was carrying pro-Hamas left-wing activists, among them Greta Thunberg, toward the Gaza Strip.
Katz stated that the activists defending Islamic terrorism who were detained will have to watch a video about the crimes committed by Hamas during the October 7, 2023 attacks once they arrive at the Israeli port of Ashdod, before being deported.
"I congratulate the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) for the quick and safe takeover of the 'Madleen' to prevent it from breaking the blockade and reaching the shores of Gaza," the minister said through his account on the social network X. In that message, he indicated that he gave instructions to the Army for the detainees to watch "the video of the horrors of the October 7 massacre when they arrive at the port of Ashdod" upon entering Israeli territory.

Katz also targeted left-wing activist Greta Thunberg, whom he described as "antisemitic," and stated: "It is appropriate that the antisemitic Greta and her fellow Hamas supporters see exactly who the terrorist group they support is and on whose behalf they act, the atrocities they committed against women, the elderly, and children, and against whom Israel is fighting to defend them."
The video, 43 minutes long, was produced by the Israeli Army and has already been shown to journalists on previous occasions. It contains images of murders and other acts committed by Hamas and Palestinian factions during the October 7 attack, which left around 1,200 dead and about 250 kidnapped, according to official Israeli data.

In his post, Katz reiterated that "the IDF will continue with all its moral solve its war against Hamas's murderers until they are subdued, all hostages are freed, and the security of the State of Israel is guaranteed."
Shortly before Israel's announcement, the "Madleen" ship was intercepted by Israeli forces as it headed toward Gaza with the intention of breaking the military blockade. Israel's Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated in a message on X that "all" the passengers of the "Madleen" are "safe and sound," accompanying the statement with images of the volunteers wearing life jackets.
In that same post, it described the ship as a "selfie yacht" and a "celebrity yacht," and asserted that it was all "a media stunt," adding: "The show is over."
