Israel warned left-wing extremist Greta Thunberg: 'We are prepared'
The supporter of Palestinian terrorism seeks to reach Gaza to support Hamas and criticize Israel
Israel warned on Wednesday that it is "prepared" to "take measures" in order to prevent the so-called "Freedom Flotilla Coalition," led by the militant from the terrorist group Hamas, Greta Thunberg, from reaching Gaza, while the left-wing extremist was sharing videos on social media from the Mediterranean Sea.
Swedish national Thunberg, 22 years old, set out on Sunday on a vessel with the aim of criticizing Israel and supporting Palestinian terrorism in Gaza. During the journey, she shared images in which she appears wearing a keffiyeh and holding a Palestinian flag.
Several of the other 11 left-wing activists on board claimed that the boat was allegedly being "monitored by drones," which ultimately turned out to be devices from the Greek coast guard.

Meanwhile, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) confirmed on Wednesday that they are closely monitoring the flotilla's movements. "We are also prepared for this case," stated the IDF spokesperson, Brigadier General Effie Defrin, to The Times of London. "We have gained experience in recent years and will act accordingly," he concluded.
Defrin did not provide further information about the possible actions that could be taken. However, last month, a vessel belonging to the Freedom Flotilla Coalition was damaged shortly before arriving in Malta, where it was supposed to pick up Thunberg for a similar journey. Without any evidence, the organization blamed Israel, alleging that the boat, according to them, was attacked by drones.

The coalition itself has acknowledged that there is little chance that its ship, the Madleen, will manage to reach Gaza. Nevertheless, Thunberg and her companions took advantage of the journey from the port of Catania, in southern Italy, to record content in which they are seen swimming and enjoying the sea.
Meanwhile, Israel is cooperating with humanitarian aid groups to increase the flow of aid to Palestinian civilians. However, it has already been reported that the terrorist group Hamas attacks UN trucks to seize the supplies, something that forces Israel to have to take measures.
