Israel's foreign minister used a phrase from Milei to celebrate an attack on Iran
Gideon Saar's message clearly signals a nod to the Argentine president, a strong ally of Israel
Israel's Minister of Foreign Affairs, Gideon Saar, celebrated on Monday an attack launched against the terrorist state of Iran, specifically at Evin Prison in Tehran, using a phrase popularized by Argentine President, Javier Milei.
"Long live freedom, damn it!" Saar posted on his X account, confirming the Israeli offensive on that penitentiary center.
The official stated in his message, written in English except for the quote in Spanish: "We warned Iran time and again: stop attacking civilians! They continued, including this morning. Our response: ¡Viva la libertad, carajo!" Saar accompanied the phrase with a direct mention of Milei, highlighting the nod to the Argentine president.

Just a few minutes after the statements by Israeli Minister Gideon Saar became known, Israel's Ministry of Defense confirmed the bombing of Evin Prison, a facility known for housing political prisoners and foreign citizens accused of espionage. Iranian media also reported damage as a result of the attack.
It should be noted that last April, the Council of the European Union sanctioned the director of that prison, Farzadi Hedayatollah, for "serious human rights violations," including arbitrary arrests and abuses within the judicial system.
The confrontation between Israel and Iran has now lasted for eleven consecutive days. According to official figures, the Israeli government reported 24 deaths, while Iran's Ministry of Health raised the number of deaths in its territory to more than 400.

Javier Milei and Israel
Argentine President Javier Milei held official meetings with Israel's Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, in Jerusalem just a few hours before the military offensive began. Since then, the Argentine administration has expressed strong support for the actions undertaken by the Israeli state.
In an interview with LN+, Milei stated that "Iran attacks civilian targets. Israel responds with surgical strikes against high-ranking officials, against military targets." He also defended Israel's need for defense by pointing out: "If Israel didn't have the Iron Dome, today there would be more than a million dead."
In line with the president, the Minister of Defense, Luis Petri, posted a message on his social media where he wrote: "Tomorrow the world will wake up freer and more at peace. We were victims of Iran's terror and we paid for it with the blood of innocents. We are on the right side of history."
Petri concluded his statement by thanking Milei for the firm international stance he has taken. "We are on the right side of history!" he reiterated.
