One week before the highly anticipated premiere of MasterChef Celebrity 2025, the show hosted by Wanda Nara is once again at the center of attention. Although the season hasn't debuted yet on Telefe's screen, the first behind-the-scenes details of the culinary reality show have already started to leak, including who may have been the first contestant eliminated.
According to reports on social media and entertainment programs, the first contestant eliminated was none other than Marixa Balli. The information was shared by influencer Nahuel Saa—better known as La Criti—who stated that "La Cachaca" was unable to make it past the first elimination round and appeared very affected after receiving the judges' feedback.

"Marixa Balli would be the first contestant eliminated from MasterChef Celebrity. She may not have made it past the first elimination gala, she's very sad, and she was seen crying at the Fundaleu event," Saa revealed. He added: "She feels like she risked everything by going to Telefe and now she's left with nothing."
The rumors gained traction after Ángel de Brito shared similar details on his Instagram channel. "On Friday on MasterChef, Marixa left crying because of something the judges said," the host reported. "She received a comment she didn't like and felt bad. There was a spark," he explained.
De Brito also revealed other updates about the recordings, which began just a few days after the Martín Fierro Awards. "Eugenia Tobal cut her finger while trying out a mandoline and ended up in the emergency room in San Isidro. It happened at her house while practicing. Nothing serious happened," the journalist commented, confirming that the competition has already started with several surprises.
Although Telefe's production team hasn't made any official statements, the recordings for the first elimination gala took place on Monday afternoon. "At 8:52 p.m., the first elimination gala of MasterChef is taking place," De Brito reported on LAM.
Following Marixa's quick exit, the show's fans began to speculate about the possibility of a comeback round, a common feature in the format that allows contestants to return to the competition weeks later.
