The girl reported having been held against her will, abused, and threatened to keep silent. The Justice system deemed that there was not "sufficient evidence of coercion"

The capitulation of security and Western values in the face of the advance of illegal immigration has reached a new and shameful historical low in Italy. An individual of Bangladeshi nationality, aged 29, who abused and impregnated a 10-year-old girl, has managed to evade a conviction for sexual assault.

This ruling, which has generated deep outrage, is a direct result of a judicial system that, under the influence of leftist management, seems to prioritize technical interpretation and supposed "cultural sensitivity" over the effective protection of children against individuals who disregard the laws of the host nation.

The events, which demonstrate the inherent danger of a lack of border control, occurred in September 2024 within a reception facility for asylum seekers located in Collio, specifically at the Il Cacciatore hotel.

In this publicly funded center, the victim, only 10 years old, became pregnant after suffering two sexual encounters with the accused. The minor bravely recounted to the agents that she was "held against her will, subjected to sexual abuse, and warned that she would face serious consequences if she spoke" in two separate episodes within the same premises.

Despite the seriousness of the testimony, Judge Valeria Rey determined that the prosecution did not provide elements to conclusively establish the use of "physical force, threats, or any form of coercion", thus dismissing the charge of sexual assault.

In an outrageous turn, the court used as a defense argument that the girl's mother supposedly considered a future marriage between them, citing data from UNICEF indicating that in the family's country of origin, 30% of marriages involve minors and 10% affect girls under 15 years old.

This appeal to the "cultural background" to consider that the aggressor's version "was not entirely implausible" is an affront to Italian legal sovereignty.

The legal engineering to reduce the punishment for this foreign citizen was exhaustive. Although the severity of the case and the "deep psychological consequences resulting from the pregnancy" justified an initial sentence of nine years in prison, various mechanisms drastically reduced it.

The application of mitigating factors lowered the figure to six years; after an adjustment for concurrent offenses, it rose to seven years and six months, but finally, thanks to an abbreviated procedure, the final sentence was set at just five years in prison for sexual acts with a minor.

While this 29-year-old individual receives a sentence that does not compensate for the irreparable harm caused, the Italian prosecution is already preparing an appeal with the firm objective of overturning this ruling and recognizing the sexual assault. It is imperative that justice ceases to be a hostage to pro-immigration ideology and applies the full weight of the law against those who violate the integrity of the most defenseless in European territory.
