The president Javier Milei led a masterclass this Monday at the University of San Andrés, as part of an academic activity related to postgraduate training in economics.
The event took place as part of the chair of the Minister of Deregulation, Federico Sturzenegger, who organized the meeting. The rector of the institution, Lucas Grosman, also participated.

Milei's message on social media
In parallel to this activity, the President has spoken harshly about the situation of the leader José Luis Espert, in the context of the media and political operations that indirectly linked him to an alleged financier connected to drug trafficking during the 2025 electoral campaign.
Through an extensive message, Milei denounced that it was a deliberate maneuver to harm him. “They DESTROYED José Luis Espert's reputation, pushed him into ostracism, and tried to turn him into a criminal through an INFAMOUS POLITICAL AND MEDIA OPERATION,” expressed the president.
In that vein, he stated that for weeks accusations were spread without evidence with the aim of discrediting the libertarian leader. “For weeks they SMEARED him, DEFAMED him, and publicly condemned him without evidence, just because he defended the ideas of freedom and was uncomfortable for them,” he affirmed.

The President also emphasized that the situation was clarified after a judicial resolution abroad. “But finally, the Justice of the United States accepted the declaration of INNOCENCE regarding the drug trafficking of which the person used to attack and smear José Luis Espert was accused,” he noted.
Milei also questioned the logic of the accusations and the impact they had on the public image of the then candidate of La Libertad Avanza. “They made a MESS of an innocent guy. They ruined his life, destroyed his political career,” he stated, while pointing fingers at sectors of journalism and politics for what happened.
The presidential message concluded with strong support for Espert and a direct criticism of those who spread the allegations, in a context of growing confrontation between the government and the corrupt media system.
