A new national survey revealed favorable results for Javier Milei ahead of the 2027 presidential elections.

The study, conducted by Opinaia on 1,000 cases nationwide between July 19 and 25, places La Libertad Avanza as the space with the highest voting intention and records a 17-point advantage for Milei over the ultra-Kirchnerist governor Axel Kicillof in a potential runoff.

The measurement was conducted with a margin of error of +/- 3% and asked respondents about their preferences in different electoral scenarios.

One of the main findings from the survey appears when asking what would be better for the country starting in 2027. At this point, the option for continuity reaches 48%, while 40% believe that Milei should not continue. The remaining 12% responded that they do not know.

La Libertad Avanza has the highest electoral floor

The survey also measured the floors and ceilings of voting intention of the main political spaces. In this scenario, La Libertad Avanza presents the best result.

About 30% of respondents stated that they “would definitely vote for him,” while another 25% responded that they “could possibly vote for him.” Meanwhile, 45% claimed they would never vote for the space.

The rest of the parties show lower percentages of certain votes. The PRO records 8% of people who would definitely vote for them and 35% who could do so. The K Peronism reaches 21% of certain votes and 17% of potential voters.

The Left Front records 9% of certain votes and 28% who could possibly vote for them, while Provincias Unidas obtains 5% and 32%, respectively.

Milei also leads political identification

When asked which political space they feel most identified with ahead of 2027, La Libertad Avanza comes first with 29%.

In second place is K Peronism, with 20%, followed by PRO, with 9%; Left Front, with 5%; and Provincias Unidas, also with 5%. 32% expressed that they do not have a defined political space.

The result again shows La Libertad Avanza as the main individual force within the measurement, above the rest of the consulted spaces.

Wide advantage for Milei over Kicillof in a runoff

The most favorable scenario for the President appears in a potential electoral second round against the ultra-Kirchnerist governor Axel Kicillof.

When asked whom they would vote for in a runoff between the two, Milei reaches 47%, while Kicillof obtains 30%. The remaining 23% responded that they do not know.

Thus, the study records a difference of 17 percentage points between the two leaders in a potential second round.

The Opinaia survey, like any other, constitutes an early measurement ahead of the 2027 elections, with an electoral scenario still open and many undecided voters.

However, within the consulted scenarios, the main indicators favor Milei: he leads in identification by space, presents the highest electoral floor, continuity surpasses change, and obtains a 17-point advantage over Kicillof in a second round.
