In the national broadcast, the president questioned the disastrous British immigration policy and warned about its economic, demographic, and security consequences

In a historic national broadcast aired this September 3, President Javier Milei harshly exposed the geopolitical contrast between Argentina's resurgence and Britain's decline. With a firm voice, he declared that the United Kingdom faces "multiple crises of a migratory, demographic, and economic nature, which are unlikely to have a solution", dragging the old metropolis down an inevitable "path of decline".

In stark contrast to this European turmoil, Argentina positions itself before the world as a "reliable" and safe partner, free from the severe sociocultural tensions that currently threaten the West. The diplomatic humiliation towards the British crown lies in its absolute renunciation of border control.

According to data from the British Home Office and the Office for National Statistics (ONS), the former power received 76,714 asylum applications in the period of 2026, affecting 93,525 people.

The state negligence is evident in the English Channel, where security forces detected 38,784 illegal arrivals in small boats. This chaos pushed the annual net migration to peaks of between 764,000 people (in 2022) and 685,000 (in 2023).

The cost for the suffocated British taxpayer is immense: the budget to finance this broken asylum system escalated from £4.8 billion to £5.4 billion annually, largely wasted on accommodating over 21,000 applicants in emergency hotels due to the lack of long-term rental housing. Meanwhile, the bureaucratic inefficiency of the United Kingdom maintains a "backlog" of up to 225,000 unresolved cases.

This overflow translates into a severe demographic transformation: the Muslim population in England and Wales surged from 2.71 million to 3.87 million (6.5% of the total), representing 33% of the population growth for the entire decade. In high-density districts like Tower Hamlets, the figure reaches 39.9% (~123,912 people), fueling gaps where 40% of this community resides in the most deprived areas of the country.

In absolute contrast, the Argentine Republic governed by Javier Milei showcases an exemplary model of demographic stability and legality. Based on data from the INDEC from the 2022 Census, the country has 45,892,285 inhabitants, of which only 4.2% (1,933,463 people) were born abroad. Furthermore, the flow is orderly regional, as 72% comes from neighboring countries and South America.

Minorities from Asia (31,001) and Africa (2,738) are marginal, facilitating peaceful socio-labor assimilation. As Javier Milei proclaimed in his speech, Argentina enjoys a strategic geography "that is not affected by uncontrolled immigration, the violence it brings, and the national security problems that currently threaten Europe".

To safeguard this oasis of social peace, the libertarian government put an end to the scourge of "medical tourism" by imposing charges for health services in public hospitals for "non-resident" or temporary foreigners.

In this way, public resources are protected by charging for scheduled care and guaranteeing the free provision of state health services only for Argentines and residents with permanent residency who contribute to the tax system. The new administrative guidelines complement this with stricter border controls and the immediate expulsion of foreign criminals.

The strength of these economic normalization reforms, supported by the RIGI, gives Argentina the vigor to confront the British usurper in the Falkland Islands. In his message, the president announced the construction of an integrated naval base in Tierra del Fuego, the tightening of Law 26.659 against British oil companies operating without authorization, and the creation of a transversal National Security Council that will coordinate Foreign Affairs, Defense, Intelligence, and Economy.

While the United Kingdom languishes in a migratory debacle costing billions of pounds, the government of Javier Milei demonstrates that sovereignty, order, and surplus are the only weapons to reclaim national greatness.
