Javier Milei presented his candidates and delivered a historic speech in Junín

The president: 'Kirchnerism is openly dedicated to sowing chaos, but nothing is going to scare us.'

On a night of fervent activism and libertarian chants, President Javier Milei led the presentation event for La Libertad Avanza's Buenos Aires Province candidates for the legislative elections in Junín. Before a packed theater, the head of state appeared close to the activists, walked through the crowd, and rallied those present with slogans against Kirchnerism:  "The Kirchnerist gangs are over. Never again Kirchnerism!"

From the stage, Milei issued a warning about the provincial elections on September 7, which he described as the first major electoral battle:  "That election will mark the ceiling for Kirchnerism. If we manage to win the Province, we'll be driving the last nail in the coffin to tell them never again." He added:  "Let's not be mistaken, with Kirchnerists there is no possible dialogue."

The President denounced the historical methods of manipulation used by Peronism in Greater Buenos Aires:  "They're going to use chain voting, stuffed ballot boxes, threats from political operators, buying politicians, and testimonial candidacies. The entire apparatus to change the course. But they're not going to scare us." In the same vein, he criticized the current party ballot system for enabling fraud and defended the need to move toward the single ballot.

With a defiant tone, he also targeted Axel Kicillof, whom he described as a  "damned communist dwarf, inveterate spender, and Soviet parasite," holding him responsible for burdening the province with taxes and bureaucratic obstacles:  "Through Gross Income taxes from the brute and useless policies, they advanced on the productive heart of the country." Milei emphasized that while millions are squandered on advertising and gender policies,  "schools and hospitals are falling apart."

In his economic review, Milei defended the impact of his administration with figures:  "The economy started the year expanding by 6%. If we keep up this pace, in 20 years we'll quadruple GDP and become a great world power. In just 10 years, we'd already be among developed countries." He also celebrated the improvement in social indicators:  "We lifted 6 million people out of poverty and two million children who weren't eating. In the country of the cruel liberals, now they eat."

The event featured speeches by Sebastián Pareja, libertarian organizer in the Province, and José Luis Espert, first candidate for national deputy, who fired at the mayor of La Matanza, Fernando Espinoza, whom he defined as "that filthy man who doesn't support the police in shooting criminals."

Karina Milei, Secretary General of the Presidency, also spoke and expressed solidarity with the young libertarians who were attacked recently:  "That's why we say never again Kirchnerism. It can't be that those who think differently are brutally beaten." Her brother publicly praised her:  "Thank you, Chief, for the titanic task of organizing the party at the national level."

In a message of unity, Milei also thanked Espert for his role in 2019, Cristian Ritondo, and Diego Santilli for their support in building the Buenos Aires Province team.  "La Libertad Avanza or Argentina goes backward. We have to go after the governors and mayors so that the reforms are felt at all levels of the State. Everyone has to do their part," he stated.
