President Javier Milei once again spoke out firmly in response to opposition criticism and defended the achievements of his administration, striking a defiant and optimistic tone ahead of the legislative elections on October 26. "We're the government that has reduced poverty the most in history! I'm not going to be manipulated by the kukas, nor by the kukas' arguments!", the president declared in an interview with LN+, in which he also predicted that "in August of next year, inflation will be zero in Argentina."

Milei stated that his central commitment remains with the Argentine people and with the sustained reduction of inflation. "Thirty percent this year disgusts me," he declared, and explained that the monetary control initiated in the middle of last year will allow for total stability in 2026: "We set the amount of money in the middle of last year. If the lag of monetary policy, according to new studies, is 26 months, by August of next year inflation will be zero."

In a segment of strong self-defense, the libertarian leader emphasized that his adversaries criticize him for the same results they would have previously celebrated. "If Kirchnerism had achieved these results, they'd be boasting that they're the government that reduced poverty the most. However, it was us, and those who left 57% and a planted hyperinflation are now questioning us," he stated. He also highlighted that his administration reduced poverty by 12 million people and extreme poverty by 6 million, achieving "the lowest crime rates in history."

When asked about the political climate and the elections, the President assured that his coalition will seek to consolidate a legislative bloc that guarantees the deepening of reforms. "What's important is how the composition of the Chamber turns out. The next Congress will be much better than the current one. Excluding the stone-throwers, Kirchnerism, which is basically the obstruction machine," he pointed out.

Milei also reaffirmed his willingness to engage in dialogue with other sectors to advance structural transformations: "There is a consensus that this level of tax pressure and this labor regime can't continue. Even the union leaders themselves know it no longer works." He added emphatically: "You have an avenue that leads to communism, the one Kirchnerism wants to embrace. They want to take us to Venezuela, to Cuba."

Regarding the structure of the Executive, he announced that there will be Cabinet changes after the elections, in addition to those already planned due to the candidacies of Patricia Bullrich, Luis Petri, and Manuel Adorni. Although he avoided giving names, he acknowledged that Santiago Caputo "may have a central role": "Changes are not announced in advance. The best way to ruin an official is to announce a position in advance, it kills him," he said ironically.

During the interview, Milei praised Buenos Aires candidate Diego Santilli, whom he described as "an outstanding candidate who is running a phenomenal campaign," and valued the work of Karen Reichardt and the rest of the La Libertad Avanza team. Regarding the recent departure of José Luis Espert, he clarified: "Espert stepped aside, took a step back. He didn't let me down. Colo Santilli came in and is doing a wonderful job. The candidate changed, but the ideas remain those of the first box: violet color and the white eagle."

Finally, the President made an appeal to the citizens, highlighting the historical importance of the moment the country is experiencing. "Having 30% poor is extremely painful. But we've lifted 12 million out of poverty and we have the lowest crime rates. We're on the right path: there's less inflation, less poverty, and less insecurity. If you support us and continue to embrace the ideas of freedom, we're going to make Argentina great again. We're halfway there, this time the effort is worth it," he concluded.
