Javier Milei reinforces his commitment to political transformation by personally accompanying Manuel Adorni
In a high-impact political move, President Javier Milei will participate in the coming days in a walk through the City of Buenos Aires with Manuel Adorni, presidential spokesperson and key figure of La Libertad Avanza for the upcoming legislative elections. This appearance aims to consolidate the libertarian growth in Buenos Aires, in what promises to be a direct contest with the PRO.
This will be Milei's first physical presence in the electoral campaign, but not the last. According to sources close to the Executive, the president is expected to provide new public support before the campaign closes in May, as an unequivocal sign of his involvement with the political project represented by Adorni. The joint walk is speculated to take place on Wednesday, April 23, just three weeks before the elections on May 18.

Although the exact location of the meeting is kept under strict confidentiality for security reasons, a symbolic gathering is expected in one of the city's most emblematic squares. The presidential security, coordinated between the Casa Militar and the PFA Custody Division, has taken extreme precautions.
This will be Milei's second explicit endorsement of Adorni, following the video published days ago on the social network X, where the head of state spared no praise: "Adorni is my voice in the city". With that direct and forceful message, Milei sealed his decision to politically contest the control of the capital.
The president's presence will occur just one day after his participation in the closing of an important libertarian congress in La Plata, thus showing his intention to make a strong impact both in CABA and in the main strongholds of the Kirchnerist opposition.
The choice of Manuel Adorni as a candidate is not random. As the official government spokesperson and communication reference of the new political era, Adorni represents a direct, transparent style consistent with the national administration's principles. His main opponent will be Silvia Lospennato, candidate of the PRO, a party that, according to Milei, has shown "no will to change" in the City.

In recent statements, the president was categorical when referring to the break with macrismo: "The one who decided to split and violate the possibility of an agreement to defend the stronghold was Jorge Macri. If we want to understand it, we understand it. If they want, we all play dumb and believe all Jorge Macri's lies". This was his response to the electoral split promoted by the Buenos Aires mayor, a measure that the national Executive considers a maneuver to halt libertarian growth.
Milei also listed what he considers acts of political sabotage by the PRO, including an alleged campaign that "demonized" his sister, Karina Milei, and accused the Macris of "protecting the businesses" they maintain in the City.
In that vein, the president did not hesitate to label as "betrayal" the hiring of Catalan consultant Antoni Gutiérrez-Rubí, whom he blames for designing a "dirty campaign" in favor of Sergio Massa in 2023. "Let Jorge Macri explain why he raised taxes and why the City is a mess", Milei concluded harshly.
