Julieta Prandi revealed unknown details about Cinthia Santillán, Contardi's lover

The model acknowledged that her ex-husband maintained a parallel relationship with the family's nanny for more than 10 years

Julieta Prandi gave a shocking interview to LAM (América TV) in which, in addition to recounting the physical, psychological, and emotional ordeal she suffered during her relationship with Claudio Contardi —her ex-husband sentenced to 19 years in prison for "aggravated sexual abuse by relationship"—, she revealed for the first time the role that Cinthia Santillán, the businessman's current partner, played in that story.

According to the model's testimony, Santillán introduced herself to her children as the "nanny" since they were very young.  "My children told me over the phone that she was a nanny, but in reality, she was his girlfriend, his lifelong mistress. They were forced to lie," she stated. Prandi explained that she only discovered the truth when her eldest son turned ten years old and confessed to her what was happening.

The host recalled that, at that time, the real nanny was the one who took care of the children in Escobar, while Contardi moved to another residence.  "He didn't stay with them," she pointed out, describing the mistreatment her children experienced every time they had to comply with the visitation arrangement after the separation.

The situation became unsustainable and led Prandi to file a complaint.  "From that moment on, the eldest never wanted to see him again. The youngest continued because he was very little, but when he finished kindergarten, he began to express that he didn't want to see him or have him pick him up from school," she recounted. It was then that she managed to draw up a record that marked the beginning of the end of the children's relationship with their father.

During the conversation with Ángel de Brito, Prandi also revealed that only a few days ago her eldest son, now 14 years old, found out about the title of the case against Contardi.  "He did know there was a trial and that there was violence, but he didn't know the title. I wanted to protect them from that exposure," she explained.

When asked if the physical violence occurred in front of her children, the model specified that it did not, although they did hear shouting, insults, and threats. The death threats happened in front of the eldest, who remembers everything. Once, when he stole my documents and my phone, I had a breakdown and told him "If my phone doesn't show up, you're all going to jail, son of a b...". He started filming, and my son asked, "Why? Why are you all going to jail?"
