The strategy broke down: a key player was left out of the Gran Hermano house
The audience made their choice and left out one of the new players who was trying to reach the final. There are 6 players remaining
The elimination gala on Monday, June 9 featured Katia as the involuntary protagonist of a foretold ending. With only three participants up for nomination—Ulises, Eugenia, and Katia herself—the tension remained until the very end.
The new format implemented by the production team split the gala into two nights. On Sunday, Santiago del Moro announced live that Juan Pablo was out of danger, solidifying his place as one of the audience's favorites.
With Juan Pablo saved, Monday's decision left the nomination between Eugenia, Katia, and Ulises. The first surprise of the night came when Ulises was also saved by the audience's vote, reducing the duel to a head-to-head between Eugenia and Katia.
An even elimination, full of emotions
Both participants were going through similar personal situations and had expressed on several occasions their desire to reunite with their children. Previous polls showed a minimal difference between the two, which caused even more anticipation.
Finally, Santiago del Moro announced that Katia, nicknamed "La Tana," was the new eliminated contestant from Gran Hermano, leaving Eugenia still in the game, although her public image is wearing down more and more.

The decision came just 15 days before the grand finale, at a decisive stage where every audience vote carries essential weight.
Rule changes and an announcement that will shake the house
The production team also communicated a key update: leaders will no longer be able to add or remove fellow contestants from the nomination list, eliminating a strategic tool that many used to speculate with Sunday's votes.

Additionally, the host announced another twist: this Tuesday, after the match between the Argentine national team and Colombia, a "commando group" will enter the house to remove furniture and essential items. The intention is for the players to adapt to increasingly austere conditions in this final stage.

Six finalists, growing tension, and the audience's gaze
With Katia's departure, only six participants remain in the competition: Tato, Selva, Luz, Juan Pablo, Eugenia, and Ulises. Each one represents a different strategy and profile, but all face the same challenge: to survive emotionally and tactically until the grand finale.
The coming days promise more tension, with a "negative nomination list" that will put even more pressure on the players. Decisions will be crucial, and any mistake could cost them the chance to become the next Gran Hermano.
