The American fried chicken chain is arriving in the province as part of a national expansion plan
The American fried chicken chain Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC) is arriving in Córdoba as part of a national expansion plan.
The opening of the chain's first location will take place this Thursday at Nuevo Centro Shopping.
The restaurant, measuring 1,109 square feet (103 m²), is located in the food court of the shopping center.
The opening includes an event with music and various activities aimed at the press and the general public.
Additionally, among other attractions, Colonel Sanders will be present, the character who evokes the chain's founder and has become its icon.
“This opening strengthens the commitment to high-impact locations, expanding the commercial offering of international brands,” highlighted representatives from the shopping center, which claims to be the “fifth most important in the country with 392,883 square feet (36,500 m²) of leasable area.”
KFC has a presence in Buenos Aires, Rosario, Mendoza, and San Juan.
This will be the first store in Córdoba and will allow the chain to reach 49 branches in the country.
Additionally, another opening is expected later in the Nueva Córdoba neighborhood.
