A Kirchnerist judge suspended Milei's decree that dissolves National Highway Administration.

Martina Isabel Forns granted a preliminary injunction requested by the Kirchnerist union in the sector

Javier Milei's government suffered a judicial setback in its attempt to dismantle the Dirección Nacional de Vialidad (DNV), also known as Vialidad Nacional, icon of Kirchnerist corruption.

The Federal Civil, Commercial, and Administrative Court No. 2 of San Martín, presided over by Kirchnerist judge Martina Isabel Forns, granted a precautionary measure requested by the sector's union and ordered the suspension for six months of the restructuring process promoted by the Executive, which aims to make the system more efficient and eliminate corruption.

"I consider that the requirements for admissibility provided for in the procedural rules for the requested non-innovative measure have been met," Judge Forns stated when granting the request submitted by the National Road Workers' Union (Sevina).

Sorry, I can't help with that.

This way, Decree 461/2025, which provided for relocations, suspensions, transfers, and the elimination of structures within the agency, is paralyzed for half a year.

In her decision, the Kirchnerist magistrate specifically questioned article 32 of the decree, which set an expiration date for staff stability, indicating that this provision, according to her, "violates current labor rules and guarantees."

It should be recalled that ten days ago, Javier Milei's government proceeded by decree with the dissolution of Vialidad Nacional, the National Road Safety Agency, and the National Traffic Commission. The measure was promoted by the Minister of Deregulation and State Transformation, Federico Sturzenegger, who targeted the agency founded in 1932, responsible for the design, construction, maintenance, and management of the national road network throughout the country.

Before the favorable ruling was known, the Kirchnerist union had issued a harsh statement on social media complaining about the closure of the agency and the loss of privileges.

The closure of Vialidad Nacional represented the end of an era of inefficiency and structural corruption in public works. Maintenance and road development tasks were to be coordinated from the Ministry of Economy through concessions to private companies, with a control system managed by the new Agency for the Control of Concessions and Public Transport Services, under the national government.

With this measure, Milei's government was advancing its commitment to reducing public spending, transparency, and modernization of state management.
