L-Gante steps away from music due to a complex health condition

His entourage confirmed that he will be treated by a multidisciplinary medical team. His last show will be on May 7

L-Gante  made a drastic decision: he is temporarily retiring from music to focus on his health. The news caused concern among his followers and was confirmed by his closest circle.

The singer, whose real name is Elián Valenzuela, has been going through a turbulent phase marked by public scandals and personal conflicts. His circle acknowledged that his situation  requires immediate medical attention and he will remain under the care of a group of professionals.

A necessary pause for his well-being

Luis Perdomo, a close friend of the artist,  confirmed on DDM (América) that L-Gante will fulfill all previously assumed commitments. Then, he will step away from the stage to prioritize his physical and emotional health.

"He is going to take some time. Not just because of excesses; there is something that seriously worries his family," Perdomo expressed. He also detailed that he will be treated by an interdisciplinary team composed of a clinician, a cardiologist, a hematologist, and a psychologist.

Perdomo avoided specifying a diagnosis, but emphasized that it is not a rumor or a media exaggeration: "This is not a joke, it's not gossip, it's something serious."

Warning signs in his environment

Concern around L-Gante grew after a strong clash with his manager and friend,  Maxi El Brother. Although both claimed to have reconciled, El Brother warned: "He is not well, he needs professional help."

That statement further raised alarms. Even Mauro Icardi  intervened judicially, expressing concern about the environment surrounding his daughters, alluding to the relationship between Wanda Nara  and the singer.

Perdomo added that the problem is not limited to a mental health issue: "It's a mix of things," he said in statements to Mariana Fabbiani's program. He added that the medical team was called after receiving sensitive information the previous day.

Amid the secrecy, his circle requested respect and support during this stage. After his last scheduled show on May 7, L-Gante will remain away from the stage, focused on recovering his overall well-being.
