The Kirchnerist Undersecretary of Security of the Municipality of Quilmes, Hernán Ocampo, has become the center of controversy after a series of Instagram chats were circulated on social media in which he attempts to arrange sexual encounters with a woman in exchange for money.
Ocampo is part of the structure of the local Security Secretariat, headed by Gaspar De Stéfano. The dissemination of these conversations has raised questions about his personal conduct and his role within the area responsible for security in the district.
According to the content circulating on social media, the official initiated contact by responding to a user's story with the message: “Meetings, beautiful? I’ll pay whatever you ask! Talk to me!!”. To that proposal, the woman responded negatively: “No!”. From there, the Kirchnerist official keeps insisting to achieve the meeting.

“You’re killing me,” Ocampo replied. The woman responded: “Do you think a woman should be a prostitute, with anyone from Instagram?”. In that context, the official retorted: “Each one is free to be if they want. I didn’t say ‘they have to be’ that’s what you said..I just asked.”
The conversation continues with the woman’s refusal and her rejection of the proposal: “I don’t say I have meetings here. You are the one offering. Every woman is free. It would be better if they didn’t depend on guys paying them for sex. Or exposing themselves in real life.” In response, the man says: “We agree on that..but many choose it.”

In another part of the exchange, the undersecretary gives examples of payments in dollars for this type of encounter: “Look, there are girls who ask from 200 to 800 dollars depending on who wants to pay them if they feel the price is right.” The woman replies: “What a shame! On OnlyFans and social media, you can make much more without exposing yourself to anything.”
The dialogue continues with an explanation from Hernán, who keeps insisting to achieve his goal: “No idea how much they make. The issue is how much content you have to sell to make that..and maybe a girl who has meetings for 500 dollars an hour makes 3 thousand dollars in 6 hours of work a month. But well, it depends on each one. I won’t bother you anymore. Regards.”

At the end of the conversation, the Kirchnerist official threatens the girl: “I work for real..and I can assure you that I earn much more than you. You don’t know me. You shouldn’t opine like that..”.
The case generated a stir on social media, where people questioned the conduct of the undersecretary and the behavior of public officials and their institutional responsibility.
