After the victory against Estudiantes, Leandro Paredes assured that the team showed a solid performance throughout the 90 minutes, a difference compared to the debut against Newell's, where Boca suffered a decline in the second half.
“The most important thing is to win, to do it well, as we did today. The other day (against Newell’s) we had 70 good minutes and those 15 minutes in the second half where we slowed down, and in Argentine football, you can't relax, it was proven. Today we played a good match for 90 minutes,” said the former Roma midfielder.
The midfielder stated that the main objective was to achieve a positive result and emphasized that the squad is beginning to reflect on the field the footballing idea that Rodolfo Arruabarrena intends. In that sense, he considered that the team is going through a growth phase and that the results are starting to support the performance.
