Through her social media, the singer published a statement in which she expressed gratitude for the affection she received, explained her version of events, and shared how she is experiencing this moment.
"Due to so many comments and so many confusing matters, I would like to clarify and calm some things. First, I want to express my immense gratitude for the number of messages and the overwhelming wave of affection toward me. Sometimes I don't know if I deserve it, but today, after several days, reading so many messages moves me deeply, and I will gradually respond to them. It is very difficult, very painful, and very complicated to be able to explain everything that happened, but I am a public figure and I know I owe some clarifications," she wrote.

Regarding her relationship with García Gómez, who was accused of gender-based violence by his former bandmate Lissa Vera, the artist was clear: "Everyone knows that many times I tried to restore a relationship out of love, but sometimes it is not possible no matter how many times one tries again and again. Achieving a reconnection based on the good times we shared was our goal, since we are two good people, but the accumulation of many painful events leads me to make drastic decisions. Nobody teaches us how to love."
In her message, she also addressed people close to her who, according to her, spoke out of context: "I can understand and empathize with family, friends, and colleagues for everything that happened, but some matters and events are out of context, from a colleague who hasn't known about me for three years and, on the contrary, has the nerve to cry on camera when at no time has she called to find out if I am okay, where I am, or with whom, to supposed friends knowing things about me that are not true."

In addition to clarifying her position on the case, Lourdes spoke about her health and her current emotional state: "What I can tell you is that I still have a terrible pharyngitis, which is real, that I am supported and accompanied by my lifelong friends. I am trying to understand some things that I need to address and sort out."
The artist concluded the statement with a hopeful message, focusing on her career: "My only goal is to fulfill Bandana's comeback, which has me very excited, and I want to heal my throat so I can do what I do best and what I love most, which is singing. Thank you."
