"For decades, healthcare professionals have been underpaid. Today we are beginning to reverse that injustice: we work every day so that their effort and dedication are recognized as they should be," Lugones stated.
According to reports, healthcare staff will receive a monthly supplement of $450,000, while administrative staff employed by the hospital will receive $350,000.

The healthcare staff includes physicians, nurses, biochemists, pharmacists, nutritionists, and kinesiologists who work at the institution.

"This measure is part of a scheme of economic incentives that is implemented in a responsible, sustainable, and enduring manner," according to the Government.
Lugones congratulated the Board of Directors "for the work they have been doing to organize the accounts and allocate every peso to what matters: healthcare teams, quality of care, and patients."
"We set out to end waste and privileges for some, so that resources return to where they always should have been: institutions, professionals, and patients. That has always been the path," he said.
The authorities assured that Hospital Garrahan "is not in an emergency."
"These achievements are the result of transparent management that prioritizes administrative efficiency, technological innovation, and investment in human capital over time, despite the constant obstacles from some sectors that defend their own privileges and interests," they emphasized.
