Amid so many breakups and romantic conflicts in the entertainment world, many wonder what makes their relationship work so well and thrive over time. The answer came when a journalist asked her directly what the secret to her success as a couple is.
Maria Becerra junto a J Rei
"For me, communication," Becerra answered sincerely. "Saying everything you think. That thing about not saying anything, pretending to be angry and waiting to explode, doesn't work. We have a rule: we never insult each other. No matter how angry we are, we don't mistreat each other."
The singer emphasized the importance of respect even in disagreements. "There is no reason to mistreat a person, not verbally, not physically, not psychologically. We may not agree, but I still love you, we still eat together. That thing about 'I'll go to the couch and you'll go to the bedroom' because we argued, doesn't make sense," the young woman explained.
María Becerra surprised her millions of followers by opening up in a moving video posted on her official Instagram account. After a long time away from the stage and social media, the popular singer decided to be honest and share the difficult moment she went through this year: a second ectopic pregnancy that put her life at risk.
In her shocking account, La Nena de Argentina explained that she suffered an internal hemorrhage that forced her to rush to a clinic with her boyfriend, rapper J Rei. Thanks to the artist's quick reaction, they managed to get her there in time and save her life. "I have three liters of blood in my body. I lost more than half. They had to give me a transfusion and intubate me. Everything happened to me," she recounted through tears, revealing the harshness of the situation she faced.

This type of pregnancy, which occurs when a fertilized egg implants outside the uterus, is a medical emergency that can compromise a woman's health and even her life if not treated immediately. For this reason, María did not hesitate to highlight the work of the clinic staff who cared for her: "Arriving in time saved me. Then all the healthcare staff saved me, they did an impeccable job, they moved very quickly and saved my life. Also, being a healthy person saved me."
The singer acknowledged that the hospitalization process was very traumatic and that the physical aftereffects still remain with her. Currently, María Becerra is still recovering and has explained that she is not ready to return to her usual work pace. However, her strength and optimism drive her to look ahead. "I still don't feel completely well, but I'm getting better every day," the artist wrote in her post.
