Mariana Fabbiani reappeared this Monday, July 7, on DDM (América TV) and shared details about the complicated health condition that kept her away from the show for several days. Upon her return, she thanked the team and the audience for their support.
The host explained that she suffered from a combination of bronchitis and pneumonia, and that she is still recovering. Although she is not completely well, she decided to return to the air with positive energy.
"Good afternoon, everyone, welcome! Here I am, standing! I thought I wasn't coming back," she said as she opened the show. She then added, "I was almost dead, it was horrible what I went through."
With a bit of a persistent cough, Fabbiani explained that she is still doing nebulizations and continues treatment with antibiotics and corticosteroids. She thanked the team for their support and acknowledged that she watched the show from home.
The journalist took the opportunity to send her encouragement on the air: "She is getting better and better. That's the good news and surely on Monday she'll be here with all of us," he said on Friday, July 4.
