Mario Pergolini and Adrián Suar recalled their intense argument: 'You can't talk to me like that'
The host and the actor recalled the reason that led them to engage in an intense argument.
Mario Pergolini and Adrián Suar recalled the intense argument they had when they shared space on El Trece. At that time, Suar was already serving as programming manager and Pergolini was hosting "Caiga Quien Caiga" (CQC). Rumors about their feud circulated for a long time and were recently confirmed by both.
The reunion took place on "Deja que entre el sol," Pergolini's new show on Vórterix, where Suar was a guest. Without hesitation, the actor brought up the topic: "What's up with you? We haven't talked since the last fight." Pergolini, meanwhile, debunked some rumors: "There's a myth going around that we beat each other up". Then, both recounted how the dispute unfolded.
The decision that sparked the fight
According to Pergolini, the conflict arose when Suar proposed changing the broadcast day of CQC. "Adrián was taking over as director at El Trece and decided to move us from Tuesdays to Thursdays to make room for one of his series. He surely thought 'these guys won't mind'", he recalled.

Suar completed the story by explaining his stance: "In the meeting, I told him 'Mario, I want to air Caiga on Thursdays and the series on Tuesdays'. From there, the discussion escalated. Until at one point I told him 'You can't talk to me like that'", the producer recounted.
Pergolini admitted that his anger stemmed from the lack of consultation: "What I felt was that the decision was already made. He wasn't asking me anything, just informing me," the businessman stated.
Finally, Suar, with his characteristic sense of humor, concluded the anecdote: "You stood up and with your height and my height I said 'Uh, what an ugly moment I'm going to have'. You looked at me with hatred and thought 'this is going to go to hell'. Because it was going to happen", the actor confessed.
The story ended with general laughter when Suar revealed Pergolini's last gesture before leaving the office: "He looked at me with hatred and left. The funniest thing is that, upon leaving, he told my secretary 'your boss is an idiot'". Amid laughter, the host and the show's team celebrated the anecdote, sealing the reconciliation with humor.
