Mario Pergolini spoke about his daughter Valentina's participation in Popstars and shared how he reacted upon finding out
Mario Pergolini, host of Otro día perdido, talked about his daughter's participation in the reality show on Telefe. With humor, he questioned why she hadn't told him before auditioning.
Valentina Pergolini is 20 years old and has passed the first filter of Popstars. The young woman auditioned at Parque Roca with the number 2274 and advanced to the next stage.
“Right now I have my daughter somewhat exposed out there because she’s following me in a reality show and goes and presents herself”, commented Pergolini.
From his perspective as a father, the host recalled the conversation he had with Valentina and made a humorous jab.
The young woman was part of the crowded in-person casting after passing a virtual stage. In total, there were 3,000 young people who had previously reached that stage.
For the audition at Parque Roca, Valentina received the number 2274. In front of the coaches, she had only 30 seconds to showcase her talent.
The young woman chose to sing “Baby One More Time”, one of the classics by Britney Spears, and she did it a cappella.
