Marixa Balli will host Pasión de sábado this Saturday during Marcela Baños' vacation. In an interview with Desayuno Americano on América TV, she addressed the rumors about a supposed "Betrayal of Saturday."
“But stop messing with that! What a desire to ruin Marcela Baños' vacation! You're going to traumatize her, leave her alone,” stated Marixa Balli.
The dancer also explained that she did prior rehearsals to familiarize herself with the studio and the technical conditions of the show.
“We did a floor recognition for the type of heel I use, camera distance, lighting, basic things. I wanted to get on the floor to hear my voice,” she explained.
Regarding her temporary arrival at the helm, Marixa Balli denied any intention to displace Marcela Baños.

“Instead of having that spot empty, there is someone occupying that spot, nothing more. What betrayal. Betrayal is backstabbing, and there are no intentions of backstabbing,” she affirmed.

During the interview, Marixa Balli stated that she did not speak with Marcela Baños before taking over the hosting of Pasión de sábado. “I didn't talk to her, and I don't have her phone number,” she noted.
The dancer also referred to a previous difference between the two. According to her, Baños had said that she belittled her by recalling that she had been her first dancer.

“For me, it was an honor. Whenever I talk about my first dancers, who were many very famous, I always do it with love,” explained Balli.
In that line, she cited Daniel Casanolvo as an example, who remembers that she was his first seller.

“When one talks about someone, it's to highlight them, not to minimize. I am primarily a dancer, so I believe she minimizes herself, not me,” she stated.

“Do I have to thank? She went on vacation. Why should I thank? I'm working, they called me, and the channels arranged it. So, do I owe something?” she posed.

Finally, Marixa Balli left open the possibility that there might still be some unresolved issue between them, although she considered that they had already talked about their differences.
“Maybe there's something unresolved that we should talk about, but I thought that when she came to LAM, everything was defined. It's done, we've talked about it, how many times are we going to keep discussing the same issue?” she concluded.
