An extreme challenge with crickets and larvae
The culinary reality show kicked off one of its most demanding challenges. The celebrities had to cook with unusual ingredients: larvae and crickets. Marixa got the crickets, which she decided to turn into croquettes that she named "grilletas."
The idea was creative, but the result did not convince. Neither the texture nor the flavor managed to win over the judges.

Germán Martitegui went straight to the point: "As croquettes they're extremely hard, it feels more like a cookie", he pointed out. He also questioned the lack of accompaniment. "I'm missing a little sauce, a coffee with milk, I don't quite understand", he added.
Donato de Santis agreed. "It's a good proposal to introduce some little bugs, but it didn't turn out that well," he maintained.

The criticism hit the contestant hard. Marixa confessed that she had been accumulating bad feedback. "For some time now I've been feeling that, they lower my self-esteem to -30", she expressed to her colleagues.
She was later more forceful: "There isn't any chef here, I don't want to put up with ugly feedback". The atmosphere in the studio became tense. The episode exposed the emotional exhaustion that several contestants are going through in this decisive stage of the competition.

Weeks ago, Marixa Balli had also spoken about her personal situation on LAM (América TV). There she explained why she closed her stores in the Flores neighborhood. "The situation had been going very badly," she recounted.
The businesswoman pointed to costs and commercial lease renewals. "We have never experienced such a difficult situation," she asserted.
