Martín Cirio replied to Viviana Canosa: 'The justice system investigated me; I'm innocent.'

The influencer spoke on LAM after the journalist's criticism regarding his appearance on Mario Pergolini's show

Martín Cirio, better known as "La Faraona," was once again at the center of media debate after his appearance on Otro Día Perdido, Mario Pergolini's show on El Trece.

His appearance on television caused strong criticism from Viviana Canosa, who openly questioned the channel's decision to include the influencer in its line-up.

From her official account on X (formerly Twitter), Canosa targeted Cirio without restraint: "In prime time, memory!" she wrote, alluding to the case for "advocacy of pedophilia and incitement to commit crimes" that involved the streamer years ago.

"Don't tell me it's humor, it's not funny. Not with children!" she added, making her position clear regarding his presence on broadcast television.

Martín Cirio's response to the new accusations against him

In response to these statements, Martín Cirio broke his silence on LAM and addressed for the first time the clash with the journalist. "I have no opinion, I'm at the best moment of my career," he said calmly when asked about Canosa's remarks.

However, he did not avoid the subject and clarified his legal situation: "Everything is already in the courts, I was thoroughly investigated and found innocent. It happened a long time ago and that's it," he stated, referring to the legal process he faced in 2020, when several old tweets sparked a strong public controversy.

Cirio insisted that it was a stage he had moved past: "For me, I left that issue far behind. I talk about other things that remain for me, which have nothing to do with it. I was already investigated." Regarding freedom of expression, he was categorical: "Anyone who wants to say whatever they want, let them say it, there is freedom for everyone."

Regarding his participation in Pergolini's show, the influencer expressed his gratitude: "Mario was very generous with me, I have a very good relationship with him."

He also reflected on his relationship with traditional media: "Television is not my place. The times I went to LAM I did not perform well. I know what I'm exposing myself to."
