For the first time in its history, APTRA has announced the creation of the Martín Fierro Theater Awards, an unprecedented distinction that recognizes the best of the Argentine theater scene. The ceremony will be held next June 23 at the Usina del Arte and will be broadcast by América TV.
Luis Ventura, president of APTRA, presented the complete list of nominees on the show A la tarde. In total, 30 categories have been defined, including productions premiered from 2023 to the present.
A diverse and prestigious honorary jury
For this first edition, APTRA has formed an honorary jury with prominent figures from the theater world. Among them are José María Muscari, Alejandro Tantanián, Marilú Marini, Erica Rivas, and Jorge Telerman.
The list is completed: Patricio Binaghi, Cynthia Edul, Julián Lucero, Silvia Gómez Giusto, Ángela Torres, Paul Kirzner, Alejandra Flechner, and José Miguel Onaindia. All of them will vote to determine the winners.
