MasterChef Celebrity will have a new member following the exit of L-Gante from the reality show on Telefe. The addition was revealed by Yanina Latorre.
On Sálvese quien pueda, on América TV, the host gave several hints about the chosen figure. Finally, she confirmed that it is Mike Amigorena.
Mike Amigorena will replace L-Gante on MasterChef Celebrity
Yanina Latorre began to describe the new participant before revealing his identity. Among the hints, she noted that he is a man, sings, and has a background related to music.
The host also mentioned that he has starred in soap operas, is 54 years old, and has been in relationships with well-known actresses. Finally, she confirmed that the chosen one is Mike Amigorena.
“He likes to cook, they sought him out a lot at first, and today Telefe decided in the afternoon that this guy L-Gante was leaving for good,” Latorre explained.
She added, Amigorena had already been contacted by the production previously, but at that time he did not accept the proposal.
“You will have Mike Amigorena, who is very eager to do it, but also cooks very well,” the host stated on Sálvese quien pueda.
Why L-Gante is out of MasterChef Celebrity
The exit of L-Gante occurred just days before the start of filming. According to PrimiciasYa, negotiations between the musician and the production did not reach a good outcome.
The differences were related to the contract conditions, including the financial aspect. Telefe stated: “No agreement was reached with him, and he will not be part of this season.”
Meanwhile, other versions circulated regarding the reasons for his exit. Paula Varela mentioned on Intrusos, on América TV, that the singer had missed the official photo and other appointments.
The journalist also mentioned a supposed personal and health issue, although she avoided confirming a specific cause and did not establish any diagnosis.
Who participates in MasterChef Celebrity
The new season of MasterChef Celebrity will have Wanda Nara as the host. The jury will continue to include Damián Betular and Germán Martitegui.
The main novelty will be the addition of Maru Botana. The edition will feature 24 announced participants.
