Meteorologist Matías Bertolotti forecast a Thursday with summer temperatures in the middle of October for the Buenos Aires Metropolitan Area (AMBA). The day arrives with weather worthy of January, north wind, and a high that could reach 31°C (88°F).
However, this heat won't last long. Starting Friday, storms and a marked drop in temperature are expected, which will completely change the outlook for the weekend.

Thursday arrives with partly cloudy skies and north wind, driving the temperature up to 31°C (88°F). "A day for a t-jersey or tank top, light and bright clothing," Bertolotti said.
During the night, the atmosphere will remain hot, with 28°C (82°F) around 8:00 p.m. and persistent north wind. According to the meteorologist, it will be a "January-like hot night," with a heat index that could exceed 30°C (86°F) in some areas of the metropolitan region.

For Friday, Bertolotti forecast an unstable day from start to finish. Rain and storms of varying intensity are expected during the morning and night, with some improvement during the afternoon.
