Meteorologist Matías Bertolotti forecast a Thursday with northern winds, plenty of sunshine, and temperatures close to 27°C (80.6°F) in the Buenos Aires Metropolitan Area. The lead-up to the holiday arrives with ideal conditions for enjoying the outdoors and weather reminiscent of summer.

The specialist also provided details about what to expect for the long October weekend: a brilliant Friday, a variable Saturday, and an unstable Sunday.

Today's weather: Thursday, October 9 with sunshine, northern winds, and a high of 27°C (80.6°F)

According to Bertolotti, this Thursday "feels like summer." From early on, the northern wind keeps a pleasant thermal sensation and a minimum temperature that started at 18°C (64.4°F). During the day, the sky will remain clear to slightly cloudy, with a warm atmosphere ideal for outdoor activities.

The maximum temperature will reach 27°C (80.6°F) and the wind will continue blowing from the north, bringing warmer and drier air. By night, the thermometer will drop slightly but will remain mild, with around 23°C (73.4°F) in Buenos Aires City.

Holiday Friday weather: sunshine, high clouds, and up to 29°C (84.2°F)

Friday, October 10, a holiday for the long weekend, will feature unbeatable conditions. The sky will be mostly clear, with high clouds that won't diminish the day's brightness. Temperatures will range between 18°C (64.4°F) and 29°C (84.2°F), perfect for those planning outdoor outings.

Extended forecast: instability starting Saturday night

The meteorologist warned that Saturday will start pleasantly, with a minimum of 20°C (68°F) and a maximum of 28°C (82.4°F), but by night there could be showers and isolated thunderstorms. Sunday is expected to be more unstable, with the formation of a small cyclonic system that will bring rain, wind, and a drop in temperature.

Sunday's temperatures will range between 15°C (59°F) and 19°C (66.2°F), marking a sharp contrast with previous days. Finally, Monday is expected to improve, with partly cloudy skies and temperatures between 13°C (55.4°F) and 25°C (77°F).
