Mauro Icardi exploded with fury after Ángela Burgos appeared on television claiming to be his lawyer. The woman was interviewed on the show A la tarde (América), where she talked about the footballer's personal and professional life, causing a great stir.
In response to this situation, the Galatasaray player reacted immediately through his social media. He posted a message with an image of Burgos on screen and the word "FALSE" in capital letters, making his indignation clear.
"I don't know her. She is not my lawyer. She has nothing to do with me and even less with my investments," wrote Icardi. The athlete also questioned the attitude of the program that interviewed her for not verifying her identity before broadcasting the note.

Icardi's message was not limited to denying her. He described Burgos as "incompetent" and "unprofessional," and accused her of wanting to become a media figure. "Even the title of lawyer next to my name is too much for her," he stated, annoyed by the improper use of his image.
Icardi also reported that this woman had tried to gain notoriety using his name since December. "Stop giving press to anyone who hangs on my name," he added.
