Mauro Icardi denied a fake lawyer and left his true intentions in doubt

Mauro Icardi  exploded with fury after Ángela Burgosappeared on television claiming to be his lawyer. The woman was interviewed on the show  A la tarde (América),where she talked about the footballer's personal and professional life, causing a great stir.

In response to this situation, the Galatasaray player reacted immediately through his social media. He posted a message with an image of Burgos on screen and the word "FALSE" in capital letters, making his indignation clear.

"I don't know her. She is not my lawyer. She has nothing to do with me and even less with my investments,"  wrote Icardi. The athlete also questioned the attitude of the program that interviewed her for not verifying her identity before broadcasting the note.

"She hangs on my name"

Icardi's message was not limited to denying her.  He described Burgos as "incompetent" and "unprofessional," and accused her of wanting to become a media figure.  "Even the title of lawyer next to my name is too much for her,"  he stated, annoyed by the improper use of his image.

Icardi also reported that this woman had tried to gain notoriety using his name since December. "Stop giving press to anyone who hangs on my name," he added.

Additionally, the forward announced that he would initiate legal actions. "From tomorrow, my real lawyers will take care of it," he warned in his statement, making it clear that he will seek judicial redress for the damages caused.

Ángela Burgos's controversial statements about Wanda Nara

During her television appearance,  Ángela Burgos commented on the relationship between Icardi and Wanda Nara. She pointed out that the businesswoman was key in the footballer's growth and referred to her as  "a great strategist."

She stated that Wanda was not only his partner but also managed various aspects of his career. She even claimed that Icardi became a star thanks to her influence.  "In Türkiye, he's at the level of a David Beckham in England,"  she compared.

She also talked about the player's earnings, suggesting that Wanda would deserve a large share. However, these statements only fueled the controversy, as Icardi himself insisted that he doesn't know Burgos nor gave her any kind of representation.

Burgos's intervention not only sparked the footballer's anger but now also casts doubt on the reputation and intentions of the person who posed as his lawyer.
