Maxi López and Daniela Christiansson began 2026 filled with absolute happiness after the birth of their second child together, Lando López, who came into the world on December 31, 2025, in the city of Geneva, Switzerland.
The couple celebrated the news with great emotion and decided to share on social media some of the most intimate and moving images of that long-awaited moment.
The first person to confirm the arrival of the new member of the family was the former River Plate forward, who posted a photo holding his fifth child in his arms.

Alongside the image, he wrote a message full of gratitude and personal reflection: "12/31/2025. Welcome, Lando! An intense year is ending, with so much to be thankful for. My children, family, new challenges that I never imagined, and Lando, who arrived to make the team bigger. A very happy New Year to everyone!"
The post immediately caused a flood of reactions. Among the most notable messages was that of Wanda Nara, mother of Maxi's three older children, who greeted the newborn with a gesture of family closeness: "Welcome to the family, Lando. Your little siblings are waiting for you in Argentina".

Amid the flood of congratulations, López turned to his Instagram stories to thank everyone for the affection and to explain that he would take a few days away from social media to focus entirely on his family.
"Because of Lando's arrival, I'm going to devote myself to being with my family and enjoying time with them. That's why I'm going to be a bit distant from social media", he stated.
In that same message, he took the opportunity to wish everyone a good start to the year and to anticipate a 2026 full of professional projects, some of them linked to his growing presence in the entertainment world, which fuels the possibility of a definitive return to Argentina.
Hours later, once she had recovered from childbirth, Daniela Christiansson also decided to share her experience. Through an especially emotional post, she showed a series of photographs that capture the most intimate moments of Lando's birth: the first skin-to-skin contact, Maxi López's emotion upon meeting his son, the baby's official introduction to his older sister Elle, and, finally, the family image that sealed the beginning of this new chapter.
"I couldn't be more grateful for this way of ending and beginning the year. Welcome to the world, little prince Lando. 12.31.2025. And Happy New Year to all of you!", wrote the Swedish model, accompanying the snapshots that quickly filled with affectionate messages.
