Maxi López spoke about his relationship with Wanda Nara and a possible encounter with Mauro Icardi.

Maxi López is currently experiencing a very different family life compared to previous years. While participating in MasterChef Celebrity (Telefe), where he shares the screen with Wanda Nara, the former footballer stated that they have achieved a healthy and peaceful relationship.

In a conversation with LAM (América), he explained how the process of rebuilding the relationship with the mother of his three children unfolded. He also addressed what would happen if he came face to face with Mauro Icardi.

"We reached a point where it was no longer useful to keep fighting"

López explained that it was a long but necessary journey. "We were able to overcome our differences. It took us many years", he stated.

He emphasized that they prioritized their children's well-being. "We have to think about the kids", he remarked about the decision that led them to work together without conflict.

"Today we're doing well. We can share a lot of things that we couldn't before", he added, celebrating this new chapter in his family.

Living together today

Maxi pointed out that the passage of time helped heal wounds. "There are times when you have to calm down", he expressed.

He even shared that he has once again celebrated important dates. "I spent the last holidays with them after many years. I'm happy and I want it to stay this way".

What would Maxi do if he ran into Icardi?

When asked by Ángel de Brito, his answer was brief, direct and without controversy: "I'd just keep walking".

He still showed empathy for Wanda and Icardi's family situation. He believes that both should get along "for the girls" they have in common.
