Mercado Pago is down: massive failures in payments and transfers reported

Mercado Pago stopped working this morning and thousands of users reported issues when trying to operate.

There are problems with transfers, card payments, and even with Mercado Libre.

Since early on, users on social media began reporting issues with the Mercado Pago app.

Transfers aren't completed, error messages appear, and it's not possible to make payments.

The problem also extended to Mercado Libre, where there were errors navigating or completing purchases.

What did the company say?

Sources from Mercado Pago confirmed there was a system outage and they are already working to solve it.

They assured that the service should normalize soon, although many users still can't operate normally.
