Microsoft has launched a revamped version of Microsoft 365 Copilot that features a cleaner design and loads twice as fast. This update aims to enhance the experience for users who rely on the assistant in their daily work.

According to the company, responses are now more reliable and better organized, making them easier to read at a glance. This represents a significant advancement for those who need clear information without wasting time.

The new feature called “progressive disclosure” allows Copilot to display tools and controls based on what the user requests, instead of showing everything at once. This way, the interface feels more organized and focused.

Improvements in User Experience

It is now possible to format text directly within the enhanced prompt box, which automatically expands to fit what you type or paste. This greatly facilitates work when longer or more complex instructions are needed.

In Microsoft 365 applications, Copilot opens in a sidebar where it can answer questions, suggest changes, or directly modify documents, spreadsheets, or presentations.

A chat window can also be opened from a specific paragraph, an Excel cell, or a slide, providing greater flexibility when editing content.

Comparison with Other Assistants

This renewal comes shortly after Google updated the design of its Gemini, which also allows structuring responses based on the user's prompt. Competition in the world of artificial intelligence continues to accelerate.

Microsoft's focus is on making Copilot a truly practical tool to boost productivity without complicating the interface.

Users working with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other suite apps now have an assistant that responds in a more organized and visually clear manner.

This update aims to address one of the most common complaints about AI assistants: information overload and unnecessary options on screen.
